How will you make a difference today, without even knowing it?
Could be that your book or poem gives another hope, or that your smile lightens someone’s heart. Could be that your encouraging words erase someone’s deep doubt, or a hug restores faith that they’re lovable. Maybe a meeting for business leads down the path of friendship, or the pursuit of a personal goal puts you on course to help someone else achieve success.
People don’t always tell you what you mean to them; learn to trust that simply because you have life, you are meant to enjoy it yourself, and in the process, bless someone else. ~ SHA

“Don’t be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.” ~ Dale Carnegie

Consider this wisdom today: “Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson.
What do you need courage to accomplish this week? Will you embrace the challenge?

My first novel, “Speak To My Heart,” leads a fictional character to a
deeper understanding of God, while my first nonfiction book, “Who Speaks To Your Heart?” encourages readers in a devotional fashion to listen more closely (and courageously) to hear God’s will for their lives.
Here’s a ministry of song that also encourages a heartfelt relationship with the Master. Click Here to listen to MaryMary’s “Speak To Me, Lord!”

Most of the time when you meet someone new, the question is posed, “What do you do?”
In order to be more effective and to have greater impact, more and more people are realizing that it’s equally, if not more, important to ask WHY you do what you do?
In my case, why do I write and speak? Or, why does a teacher teach? Why does a singer sing? Why become a parent, an entrepreneur, a college professor or a preacher?
When you understand your “why” – not the reasons society says what you do has value (to become rich, famous or revered) – you can become better at doing what you do and serving others in the process. Even if you are a person who is guided by your faith, it’s important to understand WHY you value your relationship with God and how nurturing that relationship can strengthen every other area of your life and purpose.
Here’s an inspiring video of Simon Sinek, a man who literally wrote the book on why understanding what makes you tick is vital to becoming not only successful, but also significant.
